Dresses are the largest part of the Patou collection and the easiest place to get lost.
Here is every silhouette the house makes, sorted by when you would actually wear it.

For the office and the working week

• The pencil midi. Eco-friendly cotton blend, sheath cut, sits at the knee, sometimes just below. Around 890 euros at source.
• The shirt dress. Buttoned through, belted, with a tie collar, in
  organic cotton gabardine, and in cotton blend denim. The most useful dress the house makes.
• The midi knot dress. Short-sleeved, knotted detail at the front, in organic cotton and BCI cotton.

For weddings and occasions

• The draped midi. Recycled faille, gathered at the bodice, the house’s
  wedding-guest default. Around 990 euros.
• The halterneck long dress. Recycled faille, and blended lyocell and silk,
  floor length, pleated skirt.
• The bustier dress. Long and mini, structured bodice in recycled faille.
  Part of the Cérémonie capsule.
• The devóré long dress. Polyester, polyamide and elastane,
  the most evening thing on the list, around 1,290 euros.

For summer and holiday

• The beach dress. From the Patou x Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc capsule,
  blended lyocell and silk, long and volume-cut, in the Eden Beach and Shell Beach stripes.
• The bloomer mini. Gathered, short, in recycled faille and organic cotton.

• The denim dress. A-line sleeveless and buttoned midi, in cotton and in cotton
  and viscose, made in Tunisia and Romania.

• The smocked dress. Viscose, long, with a smocked bodice.

Sizing

All of them run true. FR 34 is a UK 6 through to FR 44 at UK 16 on the house conversion,
and the house publishes no general correction.

Fabric, and what it means for care

Recycled faille is 100 percent recycled polyester: it holds structure, it is usually hand
wash only, and it does not breathe like cotton. Organic cotton and BCI cotton pieces machine
wash at 30C. The wool and lyocell-silk dresses want a dry cleaner. The composition is on every
product page, which is the fastest way to guess how a dress will behave before it arrives.
