La Patou Blouse is the piece the house is named for, and the one most
likely to make you understand the brand in a single try-on. A high-volume body, a drawstring
collar with a flounce, and long grosgrain ties that knot at the neck and drop off the shoulder.

The poplin is the everyday one. The faille is the occasion one, and it is the version the
house puts in its Cérémonie capsule for weddings and events.
How to wear it
The single rule: pair volume with a narrow line. The blouse carries real width through the
body and the sleeve, so it wants a straight trouser, a pencil skirt, slim denim underneath,
not a full skirt. Three that work:
- Tucked into the Iconic trouser with a flat leather shoe.
This is the house look. - Worn off the shoulder with the ties knotted loose, over straight denim, for evening.
- Belted under a tailored jacket so the volume is contained at the waist and released at
the sleeve.
Sizing
Take your usual size. The volume is cut in on purpose, and sizing down shortens the sleeve
and the body rather than slimming the shape. On the house scale FR 34 is UK 6 and FR 44 is

Care
The cotton poplin versions machine wash at 30C with similar colours. The recycled faille is
hand wash only, and the grosgrain ties are the part that suffers if you ignore that.
