Aquazzura was founded in 2011 by Edgardo Osorio, who was born in Colombia, grew up between Miami and London and studied at the London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins. The first collection came out in 2012. The house is based in Palazzo Corsini in Florence, and its shoes are made in the Tuscan workshops around it, mostly by hand.
