Anna-Karin Karlsson tortoise, leopard and caramel sunglasses
Tortoiseshell and caramel are the neutrals of eyewear, and Anna-Karin Karlsson makes them the way it makes everything: in Italian and Japanese acetate coloured through, with gold hardware. The three tortoises, Amber, Honey and Maple, the Leopard print, and the warm translucents, Caramel, Tobacco, Fudge and Amber, sit on the everyday frames, the La Vie en Rose, White Moon, Logo Dude, Too Handsome and Strawberry Moon, and on the panthers. 9 colourways at Coveti from $1,450 to $2,510.

The tortoises
Amber Tortoise on the Logo Dude and the Too Handsome Sun is the classic dark tortoise and the one men buy; Honey Tortoise on the La Vie en Rose is lighter and warmer; Maple Tortoise on the White Moon is the reddest, new for 2026. All three are acetate coloured through, so the pattern runs into the frame.
The leopard
One frame: the La Vie en Rose in Leopard, an oversized round in a leopard-print acetate with gold-plated titanium temples. A neutral in eyewear terms, and the frame to wear with black.
The caramels
Caramel on the Rose et le Rêve and the Strawberry Moon, Tobacco on the Rose et la Roue, Fudge on the Lucky Love, Amber on the Beaming Sky crystal sheet: warm, translucent acetates that are the most forgiving shade against skin and work with camel, cream and denim.
How to wear them
As the quiet frame in the collection. The tortoises and caramels are the ones for a camel coat, a white shirt, a beach day; they let the gold hardware and the claw do the talking.
