Ateliers Auguste Marly Keyring: The Mini Bag Charm
The Ateliers Auguste Marly Gold Keyring is a miniature of the house’s Marly top-handle bag, made in stainless steel with a vibrated brass-coloured finish, 7.5 x 3 x 1 cm, and the brand says it can be used as a charm as well as a keyring. It costs $250 at Coveti, arrives in an Ateliers Auguste box and is made in China, as the brand states on its own product page (Ateliers Auguste). It is the smallest and least expensive thing the house sells, and the one most likely to be bought as a gift.
Key facts
- What it is: a keyring shaped as a miniature Marly bag, usable as a bag charm.
- Material: stainless steel in a vibrated brass colour (a gold tone).
- Size: H7.5 x W3 x D1 cm (3 x 1.2 x 0.4 in).
- Made in China, delivered in an Ateliers Auguste box.
- Price at Coveti on 13 October 2026: $250.
- The bag it copies: the Marly ($1,200) and Mini Marly ($1,120).
What it looks like
The keyring is a solid little trapeze with the Marly’s top handle and its front clasp, hung from a large round ring. The finish is a brushed gold rather than a mirror shine, so it reads as metal hardware, close to the gold plaque on the house’s Gold Edition bags. At 7.5 cm tall it is substantial in the hand without being heavy on a bag.
As a keyring
The ring is large enough for a full set of house and car keys, and the charm gives you something to find at the bottom of a bag. It is the same use the brand gives first.
As a bag charm
Clip it to the handle of a tote and it becomes a bag charm, a nod to the full-size Marly. It works best on a plain bag in a single colour, where the gold has something to sit against. On an Ateliers Auguste Gold Edition bag it matches the plaque; on a Silver Edition bag, choose something silver instead. Our bag charm guide covers how to wear one without it looking fussy.

1. Marly Gold Keyring, $250
The only keyring the house makes, a gold-tone Marly in miniature. Boxed, ready to give.
Pair it with the bag it copies, the Mini Marly (review), and with a Cléry slim wallet ($300) for a matching set.
Care
Stainless steel does not tarnish the way plated brass can, but the brushed finish will pick up fine scratches from keys over time. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it in its box when it is not on a bag.
“We create boldly designed minimalist bags and accessories inspired by the contemporary architectural trend Less is More. We strive for perfection in lines and proportions without compromising on functionality,” the house writes on its story page.
