Solace London Resort 2027: The New Collection

Solace London Resort 2027 is led by black, purple and red floor-length maxis that pair stretch crepe with heavier satin and bonded crepe. Coveti stocks 68 styles from the collection, 55 maxis, 5 midis and 8 minis, with 27 of them in black, all in UK sizes 4 to 16.

On the brand’s own website the collection appears as Resort 27, listed in the shop menu as the newest range ahead of High Summer 26, Pre Fall 26 and Spring/Summer 26. We do not give a launch date here, because the brand does not publish one we could confirm. What we can describe is the collection itself, from the product pages of the 68 pieces we carry.

The shape of the collection

Resort 2027 is very much Solace London: graphic, close to the body and almost entirely in solid colours. Four ideas run through it.

Corseted strapless gowns

The structured gowns are the backbone. The Wymore Maxi Dress in Black is a graphic strapless maxi with a curved corseted bodice and off-the-shoulder straps. The Andress Maxi Dress in Black adds a sculptural ruffle overlay to a boned bodice in bonded crepe. The Crawford Maxi Dress in Black pairs a fully boned corseted bodice with an off-the-shoulder drape, in stretch knit crepe with a heavy bonded satin.

Satin scarves and drapes

Heavy satin scarves appear across the collection. The Newman Maxi Dress in Black is a one-shoulder satin maxi with an asymmetrical scarf and a floor-length sleeve split to the elbow, and it comes in five colours at Coveti, joint most in the collection with the Dandridge. The Audran, Barbeau, Francoise and Mansfield all use a satin scarf in some form.

Long sleeves

There are more covered styles in this collection than in most. The Sedgewick Maxi Dress in Acai has a soft blouson bodice, a bias cut collar and a long sleeve. The Martine Maxi Dress in Black sets a long sleeve below the shoulder on a boned corseted bodice. The Deacon, Bradshaw, Francoise, Denevue and Delano all have sleeves too, and the Delano is cut as a crystal embellished kaftan.

Crystal

Crystal embellishment runs through the evening pieces: the Swanson, Sommer, Denevue, Marella, Cardinale and Delano maxis and the Allyson mini. There are no sequins.

The new names, and what carries over

Most of the names in Resort 2027 are new to the range we stock. A few are familiar. The Olivia, a long-sleeved column with a high neck, appeared in Resort 2026 in black and comes back in deep orchid and pewter. The Lang column appeared in black in Resort 2026 and comes back in slate blue, gold, ruby and allium purple. The Martine was a midaxi in Spring Summer 2026 and is now also a floor-length maxi.

The colours

Black leads with 27 of the 68 pieces. Purple and red follow with 12 each: acai, deep orchid and allium purple on one side, ruby and red on the other. There are 5 pinks, 3 blues, 3 metallic golds, 3 ivory and cream pieces, 2 greys and a single sage green. The shorter pieces

Resort 2027 accounts for 8 of the 13 Solace London minis we stock. The Edison Midi Dress in Black is strapless with an asymmetric curved boned bodice and a flared skirt with laser cut panels. The Gardner Mini Dress in Soft Pink is a one-shoulder mini with a draped neckline and an asymmetrical tie. The cream pieces

Three Resort 2027 styles come in cream at Coveti: the Dandridge, the Andress and the Bessette mini. They are not wedding guest dresses, for obvious reasons, but they suit a bride who wants a clean, structured look for a civil ceremony, a reception change and the evening before. Is Resort 2027 good for winter events?

Better than its name suggests. Resort collections are often thought of as holiday clothes, but this one is full of long sleeves, heavy satins and jewel tones that suit winter weddings and black tie galas. How Resort 2027 fits

The fit follows the brand’s usual rules. The boned and bonded crepe styles are designed to sculpt the body with minimal stretch: take your usual size, going up one if you fall between two. The stretch knit crepe styles, such as the Lang, have more give: take your usual size, going down for a closer fit. How the collection compares with the icons

The label’s best-known styles, covered in our signature styles guide, lean on strapless and one-shoulder columns such as the Kinsley and Kira. Resort 2027 keeps those shapes but adds more covered pieces and more satin. If you already own a classic one-shoulder Solace London gown, the long-sleeved Sedgewick and the scarf-draped Newman are the pieces most likely to feel new. Where we would start

If you buy one piece from Resort 2027, make it a long sleeve. The Sedgewick in acai is the most wearable new shape in the collection: covered, comfortable to sit in and formal enough for black tie. If you want the label’s sculptural side, the Wymore is the cleanest of the corseted gowns, a strapless curve with off-the-shoulder straps and nothing else to distract from it. For a party, the Edison midi gives you a boned bodice and a skirt you can dance in.

The pieces to think twice about are the most dramatic. The scarf styles look wonderful in photographs, but a heavy satin scarf needs managing all evening, and it is not the easiest thing to wear to a seated dinner. Try one on at home and walk, sit and reach in it well before the event, so you know how the scarf behaves.
