The Totême parachute pieces: the jackets, skirt, trousers and shirtdress
Parachute is the word Totême uses for volume that billows and then gathers in: a drawstring at the neck, a cinched hem, an egg-shaped skirt that balloons and narrows again. The pieces are in the Totême collection at Coveti; for other labels see designer jackets, and for the next step the jackets and blazers guide. It runs through a group of pieces that look technical and wear soft. There are three jackets, the summer windbreaker, the gathered jacket from the Fall Winter 25 runway and a featherlight nappa leather version, plus a silk parachute skirt and shirtdress and lyocell parachute trousers and halter top. 24 parachute pieces on Coveti, $660 to $1,405, median $977. This page is each piece and what to wear it with.

The summer parachute jacket
A windbreaker in a whisper-light, water-repellent blend of organic cotton and recycled polyamide, with batwing sleeves, slanted patch pockets and snap buttons. It weighs almost nothing and packs into a tote, which makes it the jacket for a summer evening and a light shower.
The gathered parachute jacket
A short version of a Fall Winter 25 runway piece that crosses a cocoon coat with technical rainwear. It is cut ample and gathered at the neck and hem with drawstrings, so you control how much volume it holds. The brand pairs it with relaxed denim and trousers to keep the shape the focus.
The nappa parachute jacket
The same idea in featherlight lamb leather, with a stand collar, a curved hem and leather-covered snaps down the front, cut with generous proportions for soft volume. Specialist clean only.
The parachute skirt and shirtdress
Both are an airy, softly crinkled and semi-sheer silk blend in a long, ample egg shape with side pockets. The skirt closes with a concealed back zip and wants a fitted top to balance it; the shirtdress has a concealed button placket and an ankle-grazing length the brand pairs with an oversized tote and sandals.
The parachute trousers and halter top
The trousers are fluid lyocell in a soft balloon shape that tapers to drawcord hems, with an elasticated drawstring waist. The halter top has a gathered drawstring neck that ties at the back. Together they make a summer set; apart, the top goes with the tailored trousers and the trousers with a rib tank.
How to wear volume
One full piece at a time. A parachute skirt with a fitted knit, a gathered jacket over slim denim, the shirtdress with flat sandals. Two balloon shapes together lose the line.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Totême parachute jacket?
A group of three jackets cut with billowing volume: the summer windbreaker in water-repellent cotton and polyamide, the gathered jacket with drawstrings at the neck and hem, and a nappa leather version.
How much is the Totême parachute jacket?
The parachute pieces run $660 to $1,405 on Coveti; the leather jacket is the top of that range.
Is the Totême summer parachute jacket waterproof?
It is water-repellent, which sheds a light shower, not a sealed waterproof.
What is the Totême parachute skirt made of?
An airy, softly crinkled, semi-sheer blend of 77% silk and 23% recycled polyamide.
Do the parachute pieces run large?
The jackets are oversized by design. The skirt, shirtdress and halter top are cut to a clean, true line, and the trousers are relaxed with a drawstring waist.
How do I care for them?
Dry clean the jackets and trousers; the silk skirt and shirtdress take dry cleaning and a cool hand wash; the leather jacket needs a specialist.
