Pre-Spring 2027 is the Totême collection that landed between late October and early November, and it reads as a winter wardrobe with an evening streak. The shearling

Four very different skins. The hooded shearling jacket reworks a hoodie in short-haired lamb with a Lacon finish, a treatment that leaves a light, smooth hand and a low sheen, and it has a nappa interior and an oversized cut. The silky shearling jacket goes the other way: long-haired, with waves the brand calls unruly, in the boxy shape of a bomber. The belted shearling coat recasts the trench in a light lamb with a velvet-like hand, cinched with its own belt, and the belted shearling jacket in black and natural is cut to an hourglass. The coats

The shearling-collar bridge coat is derived from the Signature trench, in RWS wool bouclé with a long-haired shearling collar you can take off. The scarf doublé coat is collarless, with a scarf attached at the neck to leave down the back, the idea behind the house scarf jacket. The shawl lapel coat falls to the ankle in a brushed wool blend, and the satin lapel tweed coat is the evening one, with satin lapels shaped like a scarf tucked round the neck. The broad coat comes back in charcoal mélange cashmere.

Dresses and tops

The reverse-collar slouch dress is featherlight silk with a collar that sits at the back, worn up and folded down, and a draped torso that nods to the house slouch waist dress. It comes in black, cream and pearl pink, and there is a short-sleeved top to match. The floral bib tuxedo shirt is crisp organic poplin with a bib woven with flowers from Swedish folklore and mother-of-pearl buttons. The deep V-neck dress is a shift in wool and silk, V at the front and the back.

Trousers, denim and knits

Four-pocket trousers borrow the layout of a jean and are cut in cotton twill with 2% cashmere. The slim stretch trousers have pintucked panels that the brand says bring the ease of leggings to wool tailoring. The classic slim denim is a new slim leg, mid waist, made in Italy in raw indigo and white. The pointelle leggings carry a monogram knitted into the fabric. Shoes and bags

The Bar family is new: ankle boots on a 55mm set-back heel in glossed naplack, and pumps with a sharp box toe on 85mm. The Cutout mules are strappy and curved on an 85mm heel. The Tuxedo loafer is patent with a grosgrain bow, after the smoking slipper. In bags, the T-Lock becomes a slim clutch on a curb chain, the Fivefold shoulder bag has five gussets and three compartments, and the Cocktail bag is a small naplack box on fine handles.

The jewellery

The bead-embroidered bracelet, collar and earrings are the most handworked pieces in the drop: glass beads embroidered by artisans in India over a padded structure, then finished by goldsmiths in Italy, with a coral-like outline.
