How it is built

A puffer gets its warmth from quilted channels of filling. What makes this one read as tailoring is the front: lapels like a coat, a single-breasted line closed with covered snap buttons, and a hood whose lining is shearling, so the warmest part sits against the face and neck. Inside, drawstrings run round the waist; pull them and the oversized body gathers into a softer, cinched line, leave them and it hangs straight.
