Where the low prices come from

A couture house has a reason to mark down that a fashion brand does not: the collections are dated and the embroidery moves on. A Spring Summer 2024 neoprene dress is not a worse dress in 2026, it is the same dress, but the house has shown four collections since, and it prices the older ones to clear the stock. What to think twice about

The heavily printed pieces and the two-tone colour-blocks date faster than the plain ones, and the deep markdowns on them are the house telling you so.
